We planned to leave by 10am as the concert was set to start at noon. By 10:20 we were out the door. Scott is impossible! How do I get E and myself ready on time and waiting while Scott is still in bed!! This is a whole other post of its own..
On our way we stop for coffee pushing our travel time back a few more minutes.
At 11:12, flat tire!
By 11:30 we were back on the road.
After a long drive down with ishy weather, a donut for a tire and an awful parking ramp to navigate we made it.
The concert was under-way and there was not a place to stand and watch. So we listened. We love B. Heath. He played some new and some old. And by 12:40 it was done.
We had decided to take advantage of being at the mall since it was such a chore getting there.
We walked and walked. Did a little shopping and a lot of browsing. E was perfect the whole time. He alternated being pushed in his stroller and carried in his BabyBjorn.
We ate Chinese and ice cream and Scott drank gallons of coffee....3 large caribous actually. Darn free refills :)
We had the pleasure of planning a run in with Scott cousin, Todd, and his family. They all met E for the first time.
A half hour before that we ran in to Lyss and Ant...MOA is the place to be.
After cold stone E had an impressive blow out that took over the inside of his shirt and pants. Thank you Lord for family bathrooms.
I pack three extra outfits and used up two...diapers are not designed for boys.
We met up with A and A one last time before calling it a night.
Just before 8pm we were back in the car ready for home.
We had a great time. I love our little family outings. I love when we can all be together somewhere other than home.
